Manny discusses the latest research on the dietary management of diabetes including the role of carbohydrate and protein foods and the controversies around saturated fats and dietary cholesterol with reference to eggs. She also discusses strategies for weight management and elaborates on how meal timing and sleep might influence this.

Pennie discusses the important role mushrooms play in our health and will help to apply current research around healthy eating for diabetes via the CSIRO Diet and Diabetes Lifestyle Plan.
