Gestational Diabetes – Introduction

This program aims to help you to understand gestational diabetes and how can it be managed to help reduce the short and long-term risks associated with gestational diabetes.

The Gestational Diabetes program will cover:

  • an overview including risk factors, screening and potential risks associated with gestational diabetes,
  • general management guidelines including blood glucose monitoring, healthy eating recommendations, physical activity, medications, antenatal checks and reducing your risk of type 2 diabetes.

This program will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and consists of videos, some written information and links to more resources.
